Seeking Solutions Summit on Challenges for Providing Victim Services in Rural Communities: Ensuring Sustainable and Effective Services (2024), New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) and Lifespan of Greater Rochester

WRI assisted OVS in planning and facilitating their statewide professional development event. OVS-funded advocates and allied professionals learned from experts and each other about strategies for addressing the unique challenges fo serving crime victims and survivors in rural communities. To help shape one day of the Summit, WRI surveyed registrants and collaborated with the OVS planning team to design and facilitate breakout sessions that both shared information and gathered participant feedback.
